What You Can Contact Us About

    • Corrections. If you spotted wrong information in any article — a wrong section number, an outdated threshold, a broken link — please tell us. Include the article URL and what is wrong. We fix verified errors quickly.
    • Topic suggestions. Is there a tax topic you wish someone would explain simply? Tell us what is confusing you. Reader suggestions directly influence what we write next.
    • Feedback. Was an article helpful? Confusing? Too long? Too short? Honest feedback helps us write better.
    • Business inquiries. For advertising, partnerships, or other business matters, use the same email with “Business” in the subject line.
    • Privacy requests. To access, correct, or delete your personal data, see our Privacy Policy and email us with “Privacy Request” as the subject.

    What We Cannot Help With

We want to be upfront about our limits so you do not waste your time:

    • Personal tax advice. We cannot tell you which regime to choose, how much tax you owe, or whether a specific deduction applies to your situation. These questions need a qualified Chartered Accountant who can review your actual financial details. We are writers, not your personal advisors.
    • Filing your return. We do not file ITRs or handle tax filings. For that, use the official portal at incometax.gov.in or hire a CA.
    • Urgent tax problems. If you received a tax notice or are facing a deadline today, do not wait for our email reply — contact a CA immediately or call the Income Tax helpline at 1800-180-1961.
    • Legal disputes. We cannot help with ongoing tax disputes, appeals, or litigation. You need a tax lawyer or CA for those.

This is not because we do not care — it is because giving personal tax advice without seeing your full financial picture would be irresponsible. Our Disclaimer explains this in more detail.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    How fast will you reply?

We aim to respond within 2-3 working days. Corrections and urgent content issues get priority — those are usually handled within 24 hours. During busy periods (like tax filing season in July), it might take a bit longer. If you have not heard back in a week, feel free to send a follow-up.

Can you help me choose between old and new tax regime?

We cannot make this choice for you personally, but our regime comparison articles walk through the math with examples at different income levels. Read those, run your own numbers, and if you are still unsure, a CA can give you a definitive answer in one sitting.

I found an error in your article. What should I do?

Email us at contact@eircicai.org with the article URL and a description of the error. If possible, include a link to the official source that shows the correct information. We verify every correction report and update the article if you are right — usually within 24-48 hours.

    Can I suggest a topic?

Absolutely. Topic suggestions from readers are one of the best sources for new articles. Tell us what is confusing you about tax — chances are, hundreds of other people have the same question. If we write about your suggestion, we will let you know.

    Do you offer paid consultations?

No. We do not offer paid tax consultations, filing services, or one-on-one advice. We are a content website, not a CA firm. If you need professional help, we recommend finding a qualified Chartered Accountant in your area.

    Can I republish your content?

Our articles are our original work. If you want to quote a small portion with proper credit and a link back to the original article, that is generally fine. For republishing full articles or large excerpts, please contact us first for permission.

How do I report a technical problem with the site?

Broken links, pages not loading, display issues on mobile — email us with details about what went wrong, which page, and what device/browser you are using. Screenshots help a lot. We fix technical issues as fast as we can.

Will you write about my specific tax question?

Maybe. If your question is something many people would benefit from — like “how does presumptive taxation work for YouTubers?” — we might turn it into a full article. If it is very specific to your personal situation, we cannot cover it, but we appreciate you asking. Either way, you will get a reply explaining why.

Do you have a phone number I can call?

No, we do not offer phone support. Email is the best way to reach us because it lets us research your question properly before responding. For urgent tax matters, please contact a CA directly or call the Income Tax Department helpline at 1800-180-1961.

Can I contribute an article to eircicai?

We are not currently accepting guest posts. Our content is written by our in-house team to maintain consistent quality and accuracy. If this changes in the future, we will announce it on the site.

How do I stay updated when you publish new articles?

The best way is to bookmark eircicai.org and check back regularly. We publish new guides frequently, especially around budget season and filing deadlines. If we launch a newsletter in the future, we will announce it prominently on the homepage.

We look forward to hearing from you. And remember — for anything urgent or personal about your taxes, a qualified CA is always your best bet.
